- Knowledge of Computer Systems:- You must have a solid knowledge about computer systems if you want to be an hacker. You should know and have a clear understanding about how computer systems work. What are hardware and software. What are Operating systems and Network Protocols.
- Programming Skills:- You should have a working knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, Java or C++. Also you must have enough knowledge about scripting languages like Perl and Bash.
- Networking Skills:- Networking is also one of the important skill for Ethical Hackers. You should understand how networks are configured and be familiar with protocols like TCP/IP and DNS. You should also have enough knowledge about Network Devices and types of Computer Network.
- Security Skills:- Ethical Hackers must have deep understanding of security skills, which includes Penetration Testing, Network Security, Cryptography etc. Additionally, they need to be knowledgeable about SQL injection, DoS, and cross-site scripting (XSS) assaults.
- Problem-solving skills:- Problem-solving skills are essential for Ethical Hackers. These skills include analytical thinking, creativity, technical expertise, collaboration, persistence, and adaptability.
